For this project, we were honoured to be approached by Lord Shaftesbury himself to create two fantastic websites: one for St Giles House and the other for Shaftesbury Estates. Built in WordPress by our skilled web design team, these websites reflect the grandeur and beauty of these prestigious locations.
St Giles House is a stunning Georgian house with a rich 400-year history. Over the centuries, it has been a centre for politics, philosophy, and social thought. Today, it is a prestigious venue for weddings, events, private hire, and accommodation.
Shaftesbury Estates, the home of the Earls of Shaftesbury, consists of approximately 50 residential dwellings and several commercial properties. It features an area of outstanding natural beauty and many areas of ecological and archaeological interest. The estates offer commercial shooting, fly fishing, a trout farm, forestry, and agriculture.
Lord Shaftesbury tasked us with creating two stunning websites that highlight the resounding beauty and splendour of St. Giles House and Shaftesbury Estates. The websites were to be image-heavy and showcase the location’s excellent offerings for events and weddings.
Web Design and Development
Our web design team faced minimal challenges while producing the two websites. The primary issue was the lack of content, as the original websites were relatively small. Despite this, the websites were built and delivered on time without any problems, thanks to our close collaboration with Lord Shaftesbury throughout the project.
To address the lack of content, our team created additional text to make the pages fuller and more impactful. Combined with eye-catching imagery, the new content better informs readers of the excellent services offered at St Giles House and Shaftesbury Estates. We ensured that both websites were built according to the client’s brand guidelines.
Both websites were developed using WordPress due to its security and flexibility. This platform supported the gorgeous, user-friendly designs and helped us maintain the website’s security.
