D&D London

D&D London, established in 2006 after a buyout of Conran Restaurants, is a leading group of diverse restaurants, bars, and hotels. With venues in London, Paris, New York, and Tokyo, D&D has a significant presence, particularly in London’s renowned restaurant scene.

Their prestigious portfolio includes Quaglino’s, Le Pont de la Tour, Coq d’Argent, and Bluebird. They are recognised for their environmental consciousness and support for numerous charity partners. Currently, D&D operates 35 restaurants and an award-winning hotel.

Project Brief

Five7T helped increase D&D’s brand presence and developed a system to track various metrics, such as cost and clicks, keywords, average position, and more. We aimed to generate more interest in the business while providing an easy and intuitive way for the client to monitor progress.

We worked closely with D&D to measure and increase footfall, finding new ways to attract customers to their restaurants and generate more revenue. Given the number of venues involved, this project was ambitious and faced several challenges.

WE OFFER A DYNAMIC REPORTING SYSTEM!

The Challenge

The primary challenge was introducing a dynamic reporting system with which the client could easily interact. This system needed real-time access to an online dashboard displaying metrics like search terms, clicks, average position, cost, and average CPC.

The dashboard had to be customisable, allowing the client to switch modules and tailor it for each restaurant. Another challenge was implementing a more effective call-tracking system specific to this client. Tracking covers and bookings at a low cost was essential.

The Solution

We started with one of D&D’s restaurants, introducing a new tracking system, including call tracking. We implemented the dynamic reporting system, enabling the client to measure bookings, covers, and the average spend per head. This system provided information for PPC and social channels as well as direct traffic, organic, and referral channels. The new tracking system allowed us to track covers and bookings, resulting in a meagre cost per booking.

Due to the success of this initial implementation, we expanded the same processes to all venues in D&D’s portfolio. Currently, Five7T manages over 22 D&D-owned restaurants.
