The Tranik House brand is celebrated nationwide as one of the foremost providers of doors, boasting over 30 years of industry experience. Their extensive range of doors meets all interior requirements, offering various degrees of fire protection and many styles. Customer service is a top priority for them, a fact that was central to this project.

the brief

The team at Tranik Doors contacted us to develop a fully inclusive website with numerous seamlessly integrated features. Several complex elements needed to be set up, so they sought our expertise. The website needed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate, featuring live chat services for customer assistance, a fully automated dropshipping system, advanced product searches, and item filtering, among other functionalities.

One of the most intensive aspects of the project involved creating individual, textually unique product descriptions for the approximately 1,500 items available from Tranik Doors. These descriptions needed to be definitive to ensure the products could be found using keywords and specific search terms, enhancing the elastic search functionality of the website.

Other features to improve user experience included customised ‘related products’ and grouped products for efficient purchasing of multiple door types.

All these elements needed to work cohesively to maximise customer convenience and optimise the system from start to finish.

We recommended the Magento 2 e-commerce platform for Tranik Doors. Combined with PHP 7, it can process up to 250,000 orders per hour, making it ideal for the automated dropshipping system. Using Magento 2 facilitated the implementation and integration of the dropshipping system.

The website was hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) servers, the world’s best hosting provider. We needed reliable and effective hosting services to maximise the benefits of the Magento 2 platform, and AWS was the clear choice.

Simplifying various products and grouping them for easy navigation was crucial to the website build. Additionally, each product was given a unique description and detailed attributes for advanced filtering, including product brands and logos.

Elasticsearch was integrated into the Magento 2 platform to improve search results within the website, enhance customer experience, and facilitate navigation. Our in-house writing team crafted the product descriptions, which worked effectively with Elasticsearch and yielded impressive results.

We integrated Sage Line 50 accounting software into the website to track sales and statistics, providing a versatile and effective solution.

We utilised Startup live chat for customer service, enabling Tranik Doors to offer one-to-one customer support services. Integrating a reviews system allowed reviews of Tranik Doors to be displayed on the website through an API.
